XYME220 reverse osmosis scale inhibitor is a highly efficient liquid scale inhibitor and dispersant used to control scale formation caused by calcium carbonate, sulfate and iron oxide precipitation in membrane separation systems. After the use of the scale inhibitor, the system cleaning cycle can be extended, the membrane life can be extended and the cost can be reduced.

◇ Problem Statement

The high salinity of the influent and the precipitation of inorganic matter produced by iron compounds are the main causes of scale fouling in the membrane separation system. This phenomenon must be controlled to prevent the deposition of reverse osmosis membrane surface and avoid the surface damage of reverse osmosis membrane caused by increased pressure difference.

Strong protection to avoid deposition

XYME220 Reverse osmosis Scale Inhibitor can be applied to a variety of water sources. The product combines phosphonate with a dispersible polymer to prevent hardness and iron oxide deposition.

◇ Dosing point

For greater effectiveness, XYME220 reverse osmosis scale inhibitor is added as far as possible before the security filter. Company service staff will determine the dosing point and dosage based on your specific system conditions. In some systems, specific dosing points and injection equipment are necessary.

◇ Dosage

The required dosage should be determined according to the operating conditions of the individual device, and a suitable dosage should be calculated according to the influent salinity, temperature, recovery rate, type of reverse osmosis membrane and other conditions, generally 2-6ppm.

◇ dilution

XYME220 can be added directly or diluted for use. Dilution to use RO water or desalted water, at room temperature dilution times not more than 10.

Product description and application

YJ881 Reverse osmosis Membrane fungicide is a non-oxidizing fungicide for cleaning reverse osmosis membrane (RO) and ultrafiltration membrane (UF) systems. YJ881 can be added intermittently to water in these systems. Adding YJ881 to other cleaning formulas provided can make membrane cleaning more efficient and reduce the cleaning frequency.

◇ should use

YJ881 reverse osmosis membrane fungicide can quickly control microorganisms, natural hydrolysis to produce low toxicity compounds. High pH and high temperature can accelerate the process, YJ881 can only be used for industrial production, not as a fungicide for drinking water.

Dosing and application requirements

Dosage: It is recommended that most RO systems use YJ881 once a week with a processing time of 30-45 minutes. The product is added to the water intake of the RO system when the system is running.

Typical dosage is:

● Continuous online feeding: 4-8ppm

● Intermittent online feeding: 100-400ppm

● After cleaning with other products, immediately use the product to clean the membrane system: 400ppm

Online dosing procedure

1, infiltration water and salt water should be discharged.

2. Add YJ881 into the RO dosing line every 30-45 minutes, and the dosage is the calculated value.

3. After dosing is stopped, drain the osmotic water and concentrate for 5 minutes.

4. Restore the normal operation of RO system.

Cleaning Guide

1. Clean the membrane system according to the standard procedure.

2, ensure the safety of RO system and valve, set into CIP mode.

3. Fill the cleaning tank with water.

4. Add 100-150ppm YJ881 to the tank and dissolve in circulation. Cycle YJ881 solution for 45 minutes.

5. Stop the circulation and thoroughly clean the system with desalted water (inlet and infiltration water channels).

6. Rinse thoroughly until YJ881 is completely removed from the system.
